the magnificent West Coast of New Zealand's South Island, and
is your first choice of accommodation traveling into Karamea.
Unless you're walking in via the Wangapeka or Heaphy Tracks,
travel
north from Westport towards Karamea and the Kahurangi National Park.
There is some fantastic scenery along this road.
When you get to the Little Wanganui River bridge (at Te Namu), the main road takes a hard left turn - Wangapeka Road is to the right, it takes approximately 1 hour from Westport. Follow our blue signs from the turnoff to Atawhai Farm, and our gate is signposted.
